Our story
One little cafe.
Family-owned and operated, Berry Fresh Cafe opened in Port St. Lucie, FL in 2009.
Jupiter. Stuart. Palm Beach Gardens. West Palm Beach.
Four more locations, each serving the same scratch-made breakfast, brunch and lunch as the first.
Five cafes. Still one family.
Tim’s son, Mitch Timoteo, is now CEO, with his son Michael Timoteo now carrying on the family passion for excellence in the hospitality business for years to come.
Founding principles that still guide our path.
We continue to adhere to the principles set by our founder, Tim Timoteo, whose 50-plus years in the restaurant business gave him unique insight into what works for the long term.
The success of Berry Fresh can be attributed to Tim’s realized vision of creating a “real food” cafe that serves chef-driven, adventurous “made-from-scratch” dishes that utilize the freshest ingredients available — most from local farms — served by the friendliest people in town.

Our food, and our community
Our menus always include our signature jazzed-up comfort foods, as well as healthy vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free selections that are a tasty treat for any palate. Our “What’s Fresh” blackboard menu is a monthly showcase for our talented chefs’ latest creations of spectacular seasonal delicacies.
At Berry Fresh Cafe, we understand that the loyalty of our customers and support of our community have been essential to our success, and we gladly do our part to give back by supporting local charities and socially-conscious causes — after all, we’re all in this together.
At Berry Fresh Cafe, we use ONLY the freshest high-quality ingredients available. Whenever possible, our food is sourced locally, meaning it’s fresh from a nearby farm to your table. We love finding new ways to make food that’s fresh, healthy and full of flavor, so our menu is always changing with the seasonality of fruits and vegetables — there’s often something new and delicious to try.
Every guest leaves happy. That’s what we mean by remarkable, caring hospitality — our staff is warm & friendly, addressing each regular by name and remembering their personal preferences while making newcomers feel right at home.
Our team is the secret ingredient. We call each other family members, not staff — treating everyone with dignity and respect, developing each other through ongoing training, and building a fun working environment through teamwork.
